Chiyyan Vikram who is known for his outstanding acting skills is the main lead of Inkokkadu movie.  This movie was released worldwide on 8th September, 2016.  The movie stars beautiful actress Nayantara in the female lead role whereas Nitya Menen donned the role of an investigating agent.  Vikram always believes in experimenting with films and here he is again with yet another brand new experiment.  Inkokkadu is an action entertainer filled with suspense and twists.

Inkokkadu Story

The story revolves around Vikram who played the role of Love in the flick who is a criminal.  Vikram has played dual roles in this flick; one as Love and other as Akhil.  Most of the movie is shot in Malaysia.  The Malaysian police are immersed in the work of tracking down a criminal who is involved in a mysterious case.  In the investigation they found a clue and rope in Akhil who is an ex-RAW agent to track down Love.  Akhil himself is in search of Love for four years due to some mysterious reason.  Who is Love and what is the mysterious case that is being chased by entire police department of Malaysia and what does Nayantara and Nithya Menen has to do with the story forms the rest of the story.

Plus points

  • Vikram is the biggest asset for the movie and he lived in the role of Love say it is body language, dialogue delivery or walking style. The character of Love is the be all and end all of the flick.
  • Vikram is the man of the movie who has shouldered both the roles in a balanced way.
  • Nayantara as always looks gorgeous and Nitay Menen gave her best in the role that was given to her.
  • Harris background is absolutely apt.

Minus points

  • The second half slows down and the excitement that the first half creates disappears.
  • Songs could have been better.
  • The movie becomes predictable after the twist in the tale is revealed.

Technical aspects

Inkokkadu is technically the best film of present time.  The entertaining sequences were good.  The director style of depicting the characters was notable.  The second half is not as engaging as first half.  The cinematography done by R.D. Rajasekhar is such a piece of art.

Final verdict

If you are an action movie lover and a fan of Vikram then make sure to watch him as Love on big screen.  He is damn good as Love.
